SQA Engineer

We at LifeTech Applications design, develop, and optimize e-commerce websites for some of the fastest-growing brands.

Brands we have worked with include Oribe, Solid & Striped, Krewe Sunglasses, Nili Lotan, Nécessaire, Birdies Slippers, Staud Clothing, Givenchy, The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and the Whitney Museum.

We’re a lean team of 28+ designers, developers, solutions architects, and E Comm consultants - spread across our Islamabad and Lahore offices.

We’re looking for an SQA Engineer – Islamabad-based, with a strong background in Shopify.

We are looking to grow over the next year and are looking for enthusiastic, bright, and ambitious people to join our team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our Shopify-based applications and websites

  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure high-quality products

  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution

  • Participate in the design and development of new features and functionality, providing feedback on potential quality issues

  • Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and processes

  • Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates and changes, ensuring that our products comply with best practices and standards

Key Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • At least 2 years of experience in QA testing, with a strong background in e-commerce/Shopify development and testing is a plus

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Asana
